FYI, heres how I pick colors. 1. I find a swatch of original fabric in the color and shade I want. In this case, it was lining from an overcoat (its the same twill used in jump uniforms, tankers, etc). It was a near perfect match for my unissued golden tan shade jump jacket. 2. The cutting is sent it to our contractor and she sends me lab dips to choose from. I wanted it a touch more yellow than the swatch- to better match the jump jacket. 3. I compare the lab dips, cutting and original uniform in both sunlight and indoor light. I chose G. We copy real history, not fantasies...
