FYI – Forest creatures do not enjoy Spanish Nortena music! For a magical moment I was a Disney Princess enjoying the company of a squirrel and deer that ambled by. I threw pieces of granola bar to which the deer sat 3 feet away to eat while the squirrel settled in a tree. I had my iPhone on shuffle with the Dead Milkmen playing Punk Rock Girl on speaker. So there I sat eating what was left of my bar listening to old school Punk Rock and being one with nature and enjoying my Disney moment. They sat there through Minor Threat and Social D, but the magic ended when my husband’s darn Spanish music came up without warning and they scurried into the forest. I must regale you all with my Belize - howler monkey story in the future.
