Facebook Peeps in the Athol/Orange area. My niece and her boyfriend had their house broken in to yesterday afternoon and the perps took a camera, a laptop, her iPad and a lock-box full of pictures, clippings, and belongings of her Dad that passed away several years ago. Keep your ears open... it was likely just some kids and kids tend to talk. If you hear anything... no matter how insignificant it may seem, please let me know. Her boyfriend is a police officer and can follow up. She could care less about the material items... they can call be replaced... but her Dads belongings are priceless to her (for obvious reasons) and they may still turn up somewhere. I had my car broken in to in my driveway and while the police have never recovered any of the material items they were able to find an abandoned car full of paperwork including my birth certificate and rabies paperwork (we had just gotten back from a trip to Canada with the dogs). They only want items of value and dump the rest... and sometimes those items are recovered.
