Facebook friend said the following: So, lets get this straight - Republicans want to work with the President for the first time in 6 years, but not on jobs, not on infrastructure, not on immigration, not on minimum wage, not on womens health, not on anything that is of any importance to the President. They seem to be willing to support sending troops back, no surprise there, they like war. But, 3 days after the election, they are warning the President that if he does anything about immigration, they will take action. However, they are also talking about repealing ACA for what, the 51st time? So now, after President Obama being in office for 6 years, they are saying they want to get to work. Wouldnt it be nice to make their kind of salary NOT doing your job for 4 years and then suddenly, when you think youll get your way deciding you might do your job as long as your boss does things your way? Wow. Thats so generous of them. Guess they like having a little control every few years for a minimal amount of time. They just dont get why they continue to lose control over and over. The public want to trust them, then they break the trust again. This is going to be a long 2 years.
