Facebook head office, Hackathon, BBQ Smokehouse, Trams, white wine and colosseum nightclub !!! Yes, it was another amazing day!! We headed bright and early on a bus over to Facebook HQ... San Francisco is buzzing today as it is the World Series Baseball final today so the atmosphere was pretty amazing!!! You pull on to Hackaway Street and arrive at what I can only describe as a cross between a university campus and Disneys Hollywood Studios!!! We walked in and saw a massive screen with welcome Thomas Cook which was a lovely welcome followed by a brief tour!! We had to sign a pretty big waiver saying we wouldnt talk about a lot of aspects so heres what I can say!!! The campus literally has everything you need, a spa, the most amazing coffee house including a iced Mojito cherry coffee blend, a number of restaurants for all tastes, a Star Wars bar a hair dressers, mountain bike shop, smoke house (smokehouse BBQ pulled pork and brisket consumed) ice cream parlour (chocolate orange and mint chocolate chip) , sweet shop (everything!) and all offices are themed after a number of popular TV shows like Game of thrones!!! (All completely free to use!!) I have never experienced a culture like this where everyone is so passionate and what they do and it really came across in every presentation... They have an amazing culture where if you have an idea o r a question no matter whether you are on your first day and want to ask Mark Zuckerberg, you can once a week at an open session! Your given the opportunity twice a year to build with the of investment of Facebook anything you want with anyone you want in the organisation! You can choose any project such as a working desk built into a hot tub or the Mona Lisa out of 100,000 pencils... The world is your oyster and you are given the opportunity to anything and everything! The office without a doubt was just unbelievable and the pictures that we were allowed to take do not do the campus justice!! Look out for lots more details when we get back :) we headed back to San Francisco and jumped on a cable car/tram up and over the hills, hanging off the edge of the tram... It was pretty awesome, especially when you come over the hill and see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time!!! Wine was consumed on a vintage and quirky pier called pier 39. You can visit the left handed shop and see the Sea Lions before we headed back to go shopping! We then headed to one of the most beautiful restaurants with a view, the food was phenomenal and overlooked the Bay bridge... Too much food was consumed and we next decided to make the most of our dancing shoes! We got a taxi to this club which was known as the number 1 club in San Francisco... From the outside it is pretty small, but once you walk in... Just wow!!! It was like a huge colosseum with dancers all around and levels all in one room! It was a great way to end the night :) today is our last full day and we are heading around San Francisco and visiting Alcatraz... Although it is going to be amazing, the last couple of days are going to be hard to beat!!!! #letsgosanfran
