#Facts_And_Information What is Hadith? ⇨Hadith are traditions relating to the saying of Prophet Muhammmad (s.a.w) or a report he did during the first centuries of Islam. Hadiths collections are regarded as important tools for determine the #Sunnah or Muslim way of Life, by all traditional schools of jurisprudence. The overwhelming majority of Muslims consider hadiths to be essential supplements to and clarifications of Quran, Islam holy book. ⇨Hadith are a source for Islamic history and biography. For the vast majority of Muslim of devout Muslims, authentic hadith are also source of religious inspiration.. ⇨Hadiths were usually sorted into three categories: 1- Genuine- #Sahih ( literally means correct, true, valid or sound) the best category 2- Fair- #Hasan the middle category 3- Weak- #Daif ⇨Some of the #Sahih Hadith were further distinguished as #Mutawatir, or agreed upon. The saying or events reported in these hadiths were attested by so many witnesses, through different Isnads, that it was thought inconceivable that these hadiths could be forgeries. ⇨The two most highly respected collection of hadiths are the authenticated collections the #Sahih Bukhari and #Sahih Muslim.. In addition to these, four (4) other collections came to be well respected, although not to be the degree of Bukhari and Muslims #Sahih Collections.. the four (4) other collections are #Sunan of Tirmidhi, #Nasai, #Ibn Majah and #Abu Daud. Together these (4) and the (2) sahih collections are called the Six Books (Al-kutub Al-sitta).. Two other important collections, in particular, are the #Muwatta of Ibn Malik, the founder of the Maliki School of Law, and the #Musnad of Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, the founder of Hanbali School of Law. #Hadith Qudsi form a partial exception; this small minority of hadith purports to express words spoken by ALLAAH to Muhammad (s.a.w) but included in the Quran, or the sense of them.. ⇨#Sample of Hadith Qudsi: On the authority of Abu Hurairah (May ALLAAH be pleased with him), who said the Messenger of ALLAAH ( Peace and blessing with him) said: When ALLAAH decreed the creation He pledge Himself by writing in His book which is laid down with Him: My Mercy prevails over my wrath (It was related by Al-Bukhari, An Nasai, and Ibn Majah).
