Faculty member at the Gordon Institute of Business Science Emmanuel Kodzi is doing research into Social Entrepreneurship in South Africa. The study is working to understand how the management of surplus is linked to the impact of the enterprise (the link between profit and impact): so if you manage your funding effectively, does that (make more money, do you) necessarily increase your impact? Dr. Emmanuel Kodzi will be in South Africa in August to conduct this research and is looking for social enterprises willing to participate. The commitment is your time and information: he’ll need to spend an hour with each team in a first face to face interview, he’ll then require another ½ a day to be part of a focus group on social enterprise, and finally to fill in a questionnaire.
