Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough~Og Mandino True story. Got up this morning determined to do better and learn more. So I got right back on the horse after falling off and drove back to the park in the same conditions as yesterday. I got out of the car and walked over to Hawkeye and had a chat with him. I said look buddy, one way or the other Im gonna learn to be a better photographer and youre going to help me. This is going to take patience on your part but I think its important for me to get people to understand what a special hawk (red shouldered) you are. I can only do that if I get better. So if you dont mind, wait there, let me get my tripod and play with my settings and experiment....He waited. I set up, took shots as I usually would then played with exposure settings. I realize in nature photography this is not usually possible as our subjects are usually very uncooperative. But I think Hawkeye understood my need and placated to my desires. Thank you buddy! I shot this at 1/5 sec at f/22...and it seemed to give me the best shot. CC is welcome as always. Have I learned anything? Best if viewed full screen.
