Fall Pumpkin Patch Comes to the Kindergarten Center Children in the Lynbrook School District’s Kindergarten Center were excited to find a pumpkin patch assembled on their school’s field on October 30, just in time for Halloween. Thanks to PTA volunteers, small pumpkins and apples were provided for each child in the building. Each class visited the pumpkin patch throughout the day and children eagerly ran onto the field in search of their perfect pumpkins. PTA members and teachers organized the fall festivity, which also featured seasonal decorations. Fall- and Halloween-themed events were held throughout the district, including the well-attended Night of the Pumpkins that the high school hosted on October 25.
