Family, I am now in a beautiful hotel room in Vera Cruz, Mexico not far from the Gulf of Mexico. My day started in Mexico City and from there to the city of Xalapa--the capital of the state of Vera Cruz. The highlight of the day and probably the highlight of the tour was the Anthropology Museum. Magnificent is the word that comes to mind and even so it does not do the museum collection justice, for in this museum is the largest repository of African Olmec heads in the world. It is just phenomenal. Seven gigantic Olmec heads are here and many, many other artifacts as well. Any African that visits Mexico should see this place!
