Why do I believe in God the Father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit? Because He gives me hope. Hope that things will get better and if they dont, Gods plan is better than anything I could do. He gives me joy. Joy amid the dispair. I can look toward Him and know that He will protect me from the real harm-death. He gives me peace. Peace is knowing that He has it under control. Not that things are going to go my way, but that He knows how things are going and has it all figured out. Why do I believe? How could I not? He has said no to me more times than I have my children. He has told me to do things I had no intention of doing and was a better person for having done them. When I turn my back on Him because of pride, disobedience, stupidity, etc, He waits for me. He forgives me. He encourages me. He is my all and He does not need me for anything. And yet, He died on the cross to forgive my sins. He, then, rose from the dead to prove He was God. These are a few reasons why I believe.
