Family and Friends, one of my cohort is in a business organization, Net Impact, and they are currently involved in a marketing contest for PACE (the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship) thats being judged by Facebook likes. Hes in class lamenting about how his group is trailing the Accounting Club. I said Mah Man, you need Facebook likes? Thats it? Just likes? How come you aint holla atcha boy??? So family, if you can like mah Mans group project, Id greatly appreciate it. Forget the video, Im just trying to pump his numbers up. When last I looked, they only had 42 likes. I said 42 Likes? And you guys are getting judged on net presence? Ummm, Im thinking that youre hovering danger close to an F right now. Mah Mans group, Net Impact Hawaii, is a nonprofit dedicated to bringing social consciousness back into business by focusing on sustainability, social responsibility, economic development, and work with nonprofits. Theres $1,000 of prize money at stake. They want to use this money to generate programs to educate students and other organizations about how to build businesses that gives back. If you dont like the video, thats okay, just do it for their cause! And PLEASE spread the love. Also, theyre unable to count Youtube likes so you have to click like via Facebook.
