Id like to say I greatly enjoy your page. The stories are marvelous. But I was wondering if you guys could answer a paranormal question I have. Im currently living in a very old house Ive been able to date it to the 1930s. I belive since then it was converted into a duplex, my current half is more updated. Remodeled in the 70s the other half (Ive lived in both) is still period to the 1930s if not older. Ive done what research I can but I found very little information on it, which I find odd. Clocks keep dieing in my living room, the foyer is all ways cold. The attic has been abandoned and theres some strange doors cut into the foundation leading underneath the farmers porch. I know basements are suppose to be cold, but mine is extremely cold at times. Now to my question: I was standing at the top of the basement stairs one evening, Id say around 9pm, and I kept seeing this tiny blue orb in the corner of my eye. Itd flash briefly then disappear. This occurred 4-5 times. On the fifth time it stayed, slowly dissipating the suddenly a larger blue light illuminated the basement, much like a flashlights beam, moving towards the stairs. I exited the stairway before it reached the bottom though. I admit it frightened me. So I was wondering if I might have some form of entity residing in my home. And thats just the activity on my current side, there is much more activity on the other side, such as the basement and pantry doors being open on their own. Sounds of furniture dragging across the floor on the first floor even though nothings moved. And the attic was left un touched completely and is always bone chilling cold. Sorry for the lengthy message, Im just wondering if Ive got something here. Cuz whatever is on the older half dislikes couples, every couple thats lived their has fought like cats n dogs.
