Fan Q: could you ask please? New mommy looking for a little advise from other mommys. My daughter turned a year old at the beginning of the month. I have been (tho I hate to admit) one of those moms that still look at their baby and see a little tiny baby who needs the upmost protection from any harm. and in reality I have a energetic very independent little girl on my hands. So my question is; what exactly did you start feeding your LO? she really has been limited (because of the whole over thinking shes going to get sick/choke/isnt ready for it mother here) she has really only had like veggies and fruits just plain soft little pieces. When did you start giving whole milk, meats, anything floavored? I mean she has had just about every jar of baby food out there and really will beast down anything! but is it really ok to just give her what we have for dinner? (case in point sometimes our dinner between SO and I working 40+ hr is not always totally Martha Stewart good wife cooking) what are some good quick little dinners I can make for her? do you still use majority baby food jars? I heat them up and put them in her bowl and she can eat pretty well with a spoon on her own already. What are some NONO foods? I mean nothing too spicy or just full of no nutrition value to her. . I know that part. just need ideas of what to actually feed this child of mine now that it is really hitting me that she isnt that little 5lb 14oz snuggling baby of mine anymore -sorry kind of long. but giving myself a headache looking at all those healthy kid parents guide sites. just seem so unrealistic would much rather get the real story of people who have been there done that TIA oh and sorry forgot. she has formula- does she really still need it? I have seen like toddler formula in the stores? how many bottles do you give at a year old? rpb -s-
