XD PRE-FANSIGN PREP ㅋ I bought a total of 43 CDs from Synnara with the help of my friends (and their friends) to increase my chances of winning. ㅋㅋㅋ Then when I didnt get an SMS from Synnara on the day of announcement of winners, I got sad and frustrated cos I bought a lot and yet didnt win. So, I sent them an inquiry because I think my entries werent included in the draw cos it didnt show on my page in the website. But then they said that I actually won and were wondering why I didnt get the SMS from them. Turns out my phone was stupid and rejected MMS. >.< So, I finally got confirmation that I did get a ticket to the fansigning and was sooooo happy! :) A couple of months ago, Jaejoong uploaded a pic of his refrigerator and PH fans (well, at least me and my @CassPH friends) were so excited to see San Miguel Beer, a Philippine brand of beer, in his refrigerator. (https://twitter/bornfreeonekiss/status/345187959517089793/photo/1) (https://twitter/bornfreeonekiss/status/361372297522712576/photo/1) So we made it a mission to be able to give Jaejoong some San Miguel Beer from Filipino fans. ㅋㅋㅋ I also asked a friend to bring dried mangoes so Jaejoong can eat them while drinking! (Koreans have fruit, dried squid/octopus/fruit, or soup when drinking.) ON THE DAY OF THE FANSIGN It was also my finishing ceremonies in school so I didnt have much time prior to the event. We had to be there by 6pm but by 3pm I was still doing other things. And I still had to buy beer. ㅠㅠ I didnt know where San Miguel Beer could be bought in Seoul so I took my chance and went to Itaewon since there are lots of international markets there. It was harder than I thought and I was running out of time when I saw a Filipina auntie on the road and asked her where I could get the beer. She was so nice and pointed me to where I could get beer. And everything was peachy from then on! ㅋ So I rushed to the venue which was quite far from Itaewon. >.< AT THE FANSIGNING The seats were on a first come, first served basis per record store (they were also assigned seats) so I got a farther seat, K-03. But it was okay, still a good view of Jaejoong. :) Finally, Jaejoong arrived and talked to the fans. He took questions and answered them while waiting for the official fansigning time to start. While the other fans were having their turn, I was practicing what I was gonna say to Jaejoong because theres very little time allotted per fan, around 15-20 seconds, maybe? But my prepared lines were about 30 seconds or more. ㅠㅠ So I had to cut them all haha. FINALLY, IT WAS MY TURN. I went to him and put the gift bag with the beer bottles and dried mangoes on the table. The manager was about to put it away and I said, Please wait. Then Jaejoong opened my CD and started signing. There was a picture of us from another fanmeeting I went to in 2006 and I wanted to ask whether he remembered me from there but then I was kinda panicking already and just said, This is from the 2006 Autumn Trip Fanmeeting. It was really good. (*facepalm* I just spazzed and didnt get to ask if he remembered me, haha. Oh well.) And then I put out two bottles of beer from the gift bag and immediately, he noticed it and his eyes lit up. Pao: *putting the beer on the table* Oppa, this is beer from the Philippines.... JJ: Ahhhh, San Miguel! I really like this! *he got excited* Pao: *got excited* Really? You really like it? JJ: Yeah! Pao: Here are some dried mangoes too. Please eat them well. JJ: Ohhh, thank you! (Manager gets the beer and puts them back in the gift bag but then I asked him to wait again cos I wasnt finished yet. Sorry, Manager! :P) Pao: Oppa, its my dream but... I know its not gonna happen so... could we at least make a toast? *held one beer* (*facepalm* Another spazz moment. I wanted to tell him its my dream to drink together with him but I know its quite impossible so I wanted to ask him to make a toast at least. I just lost the important words when I blabbered stuff to him, haha.) JJ: *clinks bottle with me* Pao: Thank you! Then the things I never really imagined happened. I was so surprised when JJ stood up and asked the staff to get him a pen. He tried to open the bottle but failed on the first try cos the pen was no good. Then he got another pen and then, he successfully popped the beer cap open! OH MY. I dont know how that happened. He was so awesome and cool! ㅠㅠ I was spazzing in front of him and was all, Wow. Thats some skill you have! Then Jaejoong sat down again, clinked the beer bottle with me and faced to his side to drink the beer. (Koreans drink facing sideways to show respect) And then he said it was delicious! At that time, I was so happy cos I never imagined him to do that. Well, maybe at the back of my head I was secretly wishing for it but its so awesome I never thought it would actually happen. But it did! ㅠㅠ So I just kept saying thank you to Jaejoong. And then I had to leave the stage already. I think the whole thing lasted a minute for us. So Im really happy and felt like I made the most out of the experience. :) I would like to thank my friends and their friends for helping me get this opportunity. If not for them, I wouldnt have gotten this chance.
