Farewell to our beloved brother Ayyub Bengtsson. Today it was - TopicsExpress

Farewell to our beloved brother Ayyub Bengtsson. Today it was written that Ayyub Bengtssons earthly life would end at the age of 31 years. He has truly lived up to his name; patient with hardships and persistent in the practice of Islam - a worthy bearer of the name of Prophet Ayyub (as). 10 years ago he converted to Islam in an apartment in Rødovre, and from that moment he was an inspiration to everyone around him. His first act after shahadah was to learn how to pray. He learnt what was necessary quickly - from the first day he was serious about his Islam. In an era where Islam and Muslims were under heavy attack, and the Danish society was characterized by an atmosphere of fear and hatred, Ayyub Bengtsson defied all this and chose the truth. He was in his prime, and with a promising music career with the Dunya at his feet, but he chose Allah (swt), and he held onto the rope of Allah. His love for Islam and the Muslims was admirable, and as he was calling others to Islam, he was known for his stunning views in difficult times, known for always confronting false ideas and known for being a faithful brother, always available - regardless of time and place. He was a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir, had a a family, was an engineer and spent his youth in the service of Allah (swt). May Ayyub stand under Allahs shade on the day when there will be no other shade but His (swt)! With sincerity and effort to re-establish the Khilafah and his unwavering confidence in Allahs promise of victory, he encouraged everyone around him. In 2013, in the blessed month of Ramadan, he was diagnosed with cancer, and although the disease had affected his body, he was never heard to say other than alhamdulillah - all gratitude be to Allah. A wonderful example of perseverance during tests. Despite the disease, Ayyub inssited on performing hajj, greatly weakened physically, but stronger than ever in heart and mind. Ayyubs focus in life remained always preparing for his meeting with Allah . We saw this even in his last days when, despite severe pain and fatigue, he spent some of his very last efforts to call to Islams view of life and explain it when he was visited in the hospital. A true guardian of Islam who inspired those around him till his last breath. Today we are taking leave of our beloved brother, Allah selected him to be cleaned three times in this life - through Islam, through sickness and through the Hajj as one of his last acts. May he meet Allah without a single sin, may Allah Almighty be merciful to him and let him enter Jannah without any accounting. May Allah give plenty of sabr and strength to his family and children. إنما يوفى الصابرون أجرهم بغير حساب (TMQ. Al-Zumar 39: 10) Hizb ut-Tahrir Scandinavia
