Farrell’s selling two halloween themed food items for the month of October. A monster of a burger and a dessert fit for the undead. Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour Restaurants has rolled out two food items for the Halloween season. This year sees the return of their very successful Sundae of the Dead series in addition to a new food item, the Frank’N’Burger. Both items hit the menu October 1 and will be available until October 31 at all participating Farrell’s locations. This is the 4th year Farrell’s has dug up and brought back their Sundae of the Dead. “Our guests really enjoy the themed food items we present throughout the year. And with the Sundae of the Dead consistently being one of our best sellers, it was a natural transition to see what other fun, over-the-top, culinary masterpiece we could create. That’s where the Frank’N’Burger was born.” Said Mike Fleming, Farrell’s CEO. “Just like Frankenstien, Franken’N’Burger is pieced together with the delicious parts of various other burgers, entrees and side dishes to make one deliciously massive monster of a burger!!! (insert evil mad scientist laugh here). Farrell’s Frank’N’Burger is 1/2 lb. fresh Angus patty, 2 beef franks, 2 strips of bacon, a fried egg, American cheese, onion strings, jalapeños, Farrell’s sauce and a Jacobs Ladder (pickle) on top! Really it’s the Jacob’s Ladder that brings this burger to life! Farrell’s Sundae of the Dead has returned for it’s fourth run. Originally, just named Sundae of the Dead, it returned the second year and Farrell’s thought you can’t have a horror remake with the same name, so it became The Return of Sundae of the Dead. The third year, Son of Sundae of the Dead, and this year The Walking Sundae of the Dead! This dead-licious sundae includes 3 scoops of chocolate “haunted” crunch and vanilla ice cream buried under oozing strawberry goo, hot “sludge”, with gummy worms squirming through a mound of whipped mud and Oreo dirt.. and a big shiny cherry of doom on top! Both items are available at all participating Farrell’s. With locations in Mission Viejo, Brea, Buena Park, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, Santa Clarita, Sacramento and Hawaii. Frank’N’Burger is available for $13.99 and Sundae of the Dead for $8.59.
