Fascinating that the NY Times likely could have stopped what was happening in Europe during WWII. Today we see papers like the NY Times inserting themselves into the actual news instead of reporting it neutrally. It appears, from this TedTalk, the NY Times has been determining what the news should be and who should be impacted by that information, for a very long time. The NY Times alone, could have impacted the direction of the Holocaust if the Jewish owner of the NY Times, Sulzberger, wasnt so focused on coming across as neutral on issues about Jews; even their slaughter. What can we learn from this today with ISIS, for example and how careful world leaders are, like the US President, to not say out loud that those extremists are what they are and in fact what THEY say they are?
