Fast & Furious Star Paul Walker Dies In Car Wreck Authorities say speed was a factor in the fiery one-car wreck that killed Fast & Furious star Paul Walker. Walker was the passenger in a red Porsche that smashed into a light pole and tree on Saturday. The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department says it will be a while before they can determine just how fast the car Walker was riding in was going when it smashed into a light pole and tree. The crash also killed Walkers friend and financial adviser Roger Rodas. The actors publicist says the two were leaving a fundraiser in Valencia, located about 30 miles northwest of downtown LA. Deputies responding to the crash found the car engulfed in flames. Paul Walker was 40 — and he leaves behind a 15-year-old daughter.
