Fatal crash - Blakehurst Police are investigating a fatal crash at Blakehurst, in Sydney’s south. About 3.30pm today (Saturday 5 October 2013), a motorcyclist crashed while travelling north on the Princes Highway, near Tom Uglys Bridge. Emergency services attended and took the man to St George Hospital where he died a short time later. He has not yet been formally identified but is believed to be aged in his mid 50s. Police from St George Local Area Command attended, established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the incident. No other vehicles are believed to be involved. A report will be prepared for the Coroner. Motorists are advised to avoid the area due to significant traffic delays.
