Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to keep and protect us all as the forecasted weather system approaches. We know that in all things you are still God. Cover our babies as they prepare for early dismissal. Jehovah Shamma, I petition you to be with those who have already experienced devastation by storms. Be Jehovah Shalom, their peace, as they contemplate how to proceed in the face of such loss. God, I pray that they will know that even in this you are a God who cares and will restore. May we all be reminded that you are the same God who said this to Israel in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. In Jesus Name Amen/Amend
