Wow. The nurse taking care of my sis was just taking Vedas vital signs and asking about her feeding schedule. We told her Veda was on her own schedule and she was nursing on-demand. The nurse turned around from computer and said good. Thats how it should be. Listen to her cues. I dont eat on a schedule, I nursed all 5 of my kids on their own schedule, and parents need to realize that. If they want to nurse, let them! Especially in the beginning--it helps that milk come in. When she is satisfied, you will know. We then discussed infant stomach sizes, bottles that are way too big, the problems with nipples that flow too fast and how they mess up baby tummies and feedings, the lack of education and support for new families, and listening to your baby. I can only hope there are more of her around the world. #MindBlown
