Father thank You for this day. It will be a day filled with emotions. We lay to rest a cousin who has been a blessing to so many in her short life. There are others who are grieving also, children away from home, missing places at the dining table, spouses gone on into eternity. Father we all have a void in our heart for someone. We thank You for the good memories we have stored away and at those lonely hours You bring them to our remembrance. We thank You for Your hand of protection that was with us as we made our journey. Father we could feel Your presence. We thank You for Your that Holy presence that lifts us from our situations and lets us get a taste of Heaven here on earth. A feeling that causes us to rejoice and praise You in the beauty of Holiness. Father we still have the sick who need strength to endure and Your touch to remove the sickness and the diseases. Father we believe help our unbelief. Our little ones who are so precious. Father Your Word has a stiff warning about the little ones, “It would be better for you if a millstone were hung around your neck and you thrown into the sea than for you to cause one of these little ones to stumble”(Luke 17:2) We pray for our warriors and their safety. We pray for those who don’t have this “peace that passes all understanding”. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
