Favor Aint Fair....Disfavor is Difficult Everyone in the Bible who experienced extreme favor & blessing went through a season of disfavor first. Sarah was barren for years before God blessed her with a child. Joseph was hated by his brothers but became the Prince of Egypt. David was disliked by his brothers and hated by Saul before he became King. Ruth suffered the loss of her husband before she met and married Boaz. Jesus was mocked, hated, and crucified before he became the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. There are many more but I’ll keep the list short for now. The hate, disfavor, lies, mocking, misunderstandings, hurt, suffering and pain are all a part of the process. It won’t last always. It only a season. You must be certain that when you come out of it that you’re not bitter, angry, revengeful, unhealed, and hurt. God is using the season of disfavor to humble you, strengthen you, and prepare you for your season of favor so when it happens you won’t become arrogant and forget it’s all about God’s glory. Get ready for the shift! The season of favor and blessing has begun.
