Fayose Emerges Winner Of Ekiti PDP’s Guber Primaries Ex-Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo Fayose has been declared winner of the state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primaries, which held today. He defeated immediate past Minister of Police Affairs, Navy Capt. Caleb Olubolade (rtd) to emerge the PDP’s flag bearer in the June 21 governorship elections. The Dr Peter Odili-led Electoral Panel declared Fayose winner after he scored 462 votes out of 477 cast. A breakdown of the votes are as follows: VOID = 4 Margeret Ogundipe = 1 Caleb Olubolade = 7 Clement Adeyeye = 3 Ayo Fayose = 462
