We are here to incinerate you with our scorching metal inferno. Behold... FLAMES OF FURY are a NYC based Female Fronted Melodic Metal act formed in 2009 by guitarist Jason Perez & vocalist Angelica Vargas. Their goal: to create the most intense and exciting metal songs possible. 2009 saw the pair writing & recording the songs that would become the foundation for the bands campaign, and in the fall of 2010, FoF became an active live act. By quickly building a strong reputation in the tri-state area as an explosive live band, FoF were steadily growing a solid fan base and audience on a regional, national and international level. In 2011, FoF performed at USAs premier female fronted metal festival Flight of the Valkyries. A major success and pivotal step for the band, FoF performed for the very first time to the female fronted metal community and industry at large. In the first half of 2012, while fielding an increasing number of offers for the band to perform, FoF continued writing and recording material and filmed their first music video for No Mercy. Since May of 2012 alone, FLAMES OF FURY have performed to over 2,000 people, sharing the stage with famous and established Metal/Hard Rock acts such as STRYPER, RHAPSODY OF FIRE, VOYAGER, KILL DEVIL HILL, SEBASTIAN BACH, SISTER SIN, DORO, KINGS X and AMARANTHE. In 2013, FoF released their debut EP FOF. It was well received with sales from fans and record stores reaching as far as Japan. Plans are in the works for several projects/showcases/releases stretching into the fall of 2014.
