Federal-Mogul Corporation - Southfield, MI PLM System Administrator Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Federal-Mogul is a global design, manufacturing, and distribution company seeking a PLM System Administrator with a strong background administering Teamcenter in a global 4-tier environment. Working as part of a Global team, the PLM System Administrator will support the deployment of Teamcenter throughout Federal-Moguls VCS segment. This will include working collaboratively to combine business requirements and software capabilities into a cohesive and optimized toolset and PLM roadmap. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage the specification, configuration, installation, maintenance, and support of Teamcenter at the server and client level in production, and development environments. Plan, test, and deploy system updates and upgrades collaborating with various business functions to coordinate outages as necessary. Collaborate with Database Administrators in the ongoing maintenance and structure of Teamcenter data. Establish, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans. Perform root cause analysis debugging problems with Teamcenter and then developing, testing, and implementing fixes to prevent recurrence. Develop and maintain Teamcenter workflows, templates, item types, attributes, etc. collaboratively with the business Document all aspects of the system such that knowledge is readily shared amongst all those tasked with supporting Teamcenter. Develop training, coach, and mentor users aimed at improving their overall efficiency and usage of the system REQUIREMENTS: Education Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Associates degree in Computer Aided Design Technology, Information Systems, or other related field. Experience Recent PLM administration experience (5 years minimum) in a global design and manufacturing environment Proven track record of administering Siemens PLM Teamcenter software in a multi-site global environment. Additional experience with other PLM software such as PTC Windchill, Autodesk PLM 360, and other custom designed applications is preferred. Working knowledge of Teamcenter CAD integrations, Change Management, and Schedule Manager modules Experience with managing software licenses globally using FLEXlm or other central solution Experience with the migration of data from one PLM or data storage software to another Ability to effectively work in a team where other team members may be located throughout the world Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong analytical / Problem Solving skills Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% to support project initiatives This job description is not all inclusive.
