Feeling selfish and negligent. Had a great night out on Friday and saw a couple of bands with my lovely fiance... (heheh... love that word) and friends. Last night had dinner in China town with some new old friends (Joeys known them for years, but my first meet), the company and food were great! Also watched the doco about Stax Records, some great footage and what a story... fascinating stuff. And now today, the ultimate indulgence, sheltered from the rain, breakfast in bed and watching Agatha Christie movies. Kicking off with the Mirror Crackd... taking time out for intermission while I give this self satisfied status update and taking advantage of Joeys gentle napping by my side. What is it that is so content, so heartwarming about watching over your loved one while she sleeps? The feeling? One of complete togetherness. Two halves have become whole, two hearts beating as one... almost guilty for feeling so happy. Sundays are my favourite day of the week.
