Fenix then took on Mil Muertes in the main event of this weeks episode. Dario introduced the Lucha Underground Championship before the match began and announced that a new champion will be crowned on the January 7th Episode in an Aztec Warfare Match. He said that whoever wins the match between Fenix and Mil Muertes will get the unique opportunity to enter last in the 20 Man Lucha Underground Championship Aztec Warfare Match whilst the loser would enter first. The match between Muertes and Fenix was a good match. Muertes ended up picking up the win after hitting the flatliner on Fenix.
