Fenomen is beautiful story about love, and connection between two humans beings who were meant to be together. How easy it is to fall apart and forget, started to being blind on the things that supposed to be evident. This story is the story of awareness and awakenings. It shows the beauty of love and connections between human beings, and how strongly strangers and lovers can depend of each other. Oh!! This story is...based on a true story!Awakenings and Connections are the two key words: how to keep and do not lose the most important things in our life ? Why we become blind? And how to wake up? Who can influence us, our destiny, our journey, and our story? This story brings a very important message: The message of being Together. Keeping the most important things in front of our eyes. This story brings and shows up the power of unconditional love. Fenomen is a short film. WHAT WE NEED We need $6,000 to make this film. Heres why: -We will be shooting on location in Los Angeles, CA and with a cast and crew of 8-10 people. We will need to lock down locations, film permits, insurance, and craft services. In order to achieve the high level of quality we are aiming for with this project, we will also need to pay key crew members such as the Director of Photography, lighting crew, sound team, and editing team. -Perhaps most importantly, equipment rentals. We will be shooting our film with some of our own equipment coupled with very special lenses which will produce the type of image we are looking for. A grip package, and other miscellaneous items are also a necessity in getting the quality image we desire. THE MISSION We are a group of very ambitious filmmakers who are committed to spreading art to the masses. Through the arts we believe that great things can be done. With this film we hope to shine light on how human connection is important in our society. Our goal with this project is to submit it into the film festival circuit and hopefully help further everyone who was involved career so that we can continue to grow as artists and continue to get people involved on a larger scale. RISK AND CHALLENGES Our first challenge is to get through this campaign no matter the outcome. It is definitely a challenge to shoot a film with no budget, but we aim to complete the shoot regardless if we reach our goal or not. This shoot has no special FX or challenging tasks that will hinder us from start to finish. There are always risks when making films, but we believe in the story and its message and we feel that with our energy and inspiration, the risk will remain slim to none. MEET THE TEAM Magdalena Korpas is an actress originally from Europe who recently moved to Los Angeles. She started writing a couple years ago so her film Soixante dix was shown during the Cannes film festival, and the other one Witchy witch during the Festival de Trouville ( France). She wrote Fenomen where she gonna interpret the main character. Magdalena has acted in feature films, in a television series as well as she worked in several short films. She acted in several plays and commercials. Over the years he has acted in music videos, TV commercials, theater, and TV shows, including the top rating show Greys Anatomy. He attended the Los Angeles Film School where he found his passion behind the camera as he excelled as an up and coming writer, director, and cinematographer. Since then he has directed four music videos, while taking on numerous projects as producer. He wrote and directed the short film, No Choice, and continues to build himself professionally in the film industry. He strives for excellence and always carries his core values, honor, courage, and commitment. A CD of original music composed by Tracy Bartelle and featuring Tiffany has been released internationally through Fable Music (BMI). Her voice can also be heard portraying several characters in the archives of the Spike and Mike Animation Festival. Ms. Carmel has sung as a core chorister in nearly fifty productions with San Diego Opera. She has also performed with Long Beach Opera, with the production DoJump! at the renowned Geffen Playhouse and with Video Games Live at The Greek Theatre.
