#Ferguson Wasnt going to post but if you have patience enough to read...please read & share... Is this case beyond sad? YES! Beyond what I could even imagine, not as sad for us as this could possibly be for the family involved. Am I tired of injustice? YES! Tired of the constant senseless killing, murders & violence! Is this the first case of injustice no….should this go unnoticed because its happened MANY times before? Of course not…does a lot of ignorance go unnoticed? YES! So now lets get to it... I hear your argument sista, this is not the first type of injustice done by a person of “authority” to a minority! Its not fair and it never has been and YES every time I see a cop I honestly question my freaking safety! Why? Because you have a gun and some of you don’t have any DARN sense of reality but yes you’re living off of what you learned or a notion that is displayed by false media. This black man is dangerous because of a hoodie and he surely can’t live in this neighborhood. Shoot, not in the leg, but shoot to kill! This black woman can be slammed to the ground because look how’s she’s dressed... She’s already trash… (have you ever thought that all she needed was a hug father figure or LOVE)…of course not..lets cuff her Officer…gotta do your job right, then go home to your kids... I hear your argument young man, this is absolutely horrible but why all the commotion when young child was just killed by a black gang member on the south side of the “chiraq? Why all this commotion when young mother was just shot and killed because of cross fires while just sitting in her living room on the west side? Black on black crime exists and its still all ignorance! Does this take away from the police brutality that DOES still exist? NO, but get it together! If there were as many riots going on with these EVERY DAY CHICAGO cases then maybe, just maybe we’d see a change…hmm. I could be wrong. I hear your argument strong black man…its not like the right people are being locked up. I won’t even get into the institutionalized slavery there. We’ll keep in simple...Young men trying to make someone of themselves being locked up for weed with “probable cause” of something made up while the ones who are “dangerous” are still running the streets. Dangerous to who…or are they a threat since they are mostly all the fathers and sons of my sisters and mothers. .better yet the young black ones who are “dangerous” in the higher class communities are “troubled” and just need some help and guidance. Man forget that!... I hear your argument young mother…you tried to raise your son in a peaceful environment by yourself as a single mom but as soon as young brother steps out to go to school he’s being tortured by other young men who’s lost their way…then he has to learn to protect himself and all of a sudden is looked at as a “threat” by the police because he is trying to fit in and not be shot down in his neighborhood on his way to school…don’t cry..lift up your head.. I hear your argument baby boy..you’re the poor young man who doesn’t have either parent your grandparents are trying to work and raise all your siblings. Where is he left to find love…no where but the streets, he’s “troubled” and can use some counseling but its not like we are paying teachers enough to do all that, we are barely paying them to teach! So just because he is about 5’9 and bulky, he’s a threat and gets shot immediately because we police officers just knew he was dangerous. Didn’t you see him? He was a huge Ni**a…oh don’t act like you don’t say it. I hear your argument young woman, black people are always trying to throw the “race card” in everything. Too bad all the cards have been thrown, this is no longer a card game. This is life…this is reality. This is truth..this is us. Yes race is a factor…even more than race…class is a matter. I dear you young woman raised in Forest Park to live on Cicero the west side of Chicago for a year and not change your mind about some things..It was founded this way since the great founding fathers began this melting pot. Ha…melting pot..surely is learning to melt itself right into the pits of satans hands…but I get you. You say that facts are facts & that white people don’t throw the “race card”. I get you…some may say its because you own the deck..but I hear your argument like I hear all others. I hear your arguments…I see all the arguments…I can put myself in your shoes…i see the pain. I hurt too…but at the end of the day. Your opinion is going to be just that. Your tears will fall, your heart will heart and you will continue to breathe in hopes to live through the next moment. Injustice is just that…it will happen again, black on black crime, it will happen again. I hear your argument…will that change the deaths? The killings? The pain in the lose of our sons? Will it help heal the mothers hearts? The babies without fathers? Will it help educate? Help being equality? Is there such thing as equality? Will it help educate other races? Will diversity training and teaching take place? What is the bottom line of all these arguments? Rioting? Now here is mine….as I sit here, hearing and looking at all the arguments. With just a bit of knowledge, just a small bit…but more experience than anything. I ask for you all…any race, any gender, any belief, and opinion…to just take 1 moment to bow your head…and pray..not just for this family…but for many families to come. Many people who hurt..and for God to reveal to YOU truth.,,because the TRUTH is this…things are bad…and they will get much worse if you lend yourself to the ways of this world. (oh typical Christian speaking). Whatever you want to call it…it is what it is! Its truth! This world is not an easy place, kids dying younger and younger, life isn’t promised. I would much rather live a life meaningful enough to understand that the love of Christ is the only thing that will allow us stand than focusing on the differences that will make us all fall. This isn’t anything you haven’t heard, no huge revelation. Just some thoughts I had to get out. Please all…just take a moment to pray. Have a blessed night… Kita Mone’t
