Ferguson is at it again… What really gets me is the way the news media painted this incident from the beginning: WHITE OFFICER KILLS UNARMED BLACK TEEN making a race issue out of it without any indication that that was the case. The correct (unbiased) headline should have been POLICE OFFICER SHOOTS UNARMED, TEEN ROBBERY SUSPECT… because that is the extent of what was known at that point in time. I have always said that although Mike Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson were doing exactly the same thing, the fact that only Brown was shot, indicated Brown had continued his violent behavior that we saw in the surveillance video in his confrontation with the officer moments later. Compelling evidence bares that out. The officer was punched several times by Brown prior to the shooting and at least one shot fired with Browns hand in close proximity to the gun, indicating a life and death struggle led to shots being fired. The investigation was not done by Ferguson Police but rather a Grand Jury and by the St Louis Co. Police (overseen by the US Dept. of Justice) and the outcome will have to be accepted… If it is found by a separate investigation that there are systemic problems with the Ferguson Police, than that is a separate issue and shoud be addressed as such.
