Ferguson showed our most ugly side as a country, from all sides. If youre in the conversation of white cop shot black kid youre talking about a tiny fraction of whats going on. This is about our culture of violence, or culture of fear, our culture of instacelebrity and most of all our culture of polarization wherein if you dont agree with me you should die. Really thats what weve come to. America is not the greatest country in the world... BUT IT CAN BE... We stood up for what was right... We waged wars on poverty not poor people... We sacrificed. We cared about our neighbors. We put our money where where out mouths were and we never beat our chests.... We reached for the the stars. We acted like men. We strove for intelligence, we didnt belittle it, it didnt make us feel inferior.
