Festival Singers past and present, we need to show our support for the Atlanta Symphony Musicians and ask management for an end to the lockout. For updates on the lockout, these are great starting points: asocmember.blogspot/ atlsymphonymusicians/ OR Picture, for a moment, getting an audience in front of the Woodruff Arts Center Governing Board - the group responsible for the ASOs fate. Picture handing them thousands of pictures and showing them hundreds of videos of ASO supporters who are demanding that they give the ASO musicians a fair and equitable contract. What kind of impact do you believe that would have on your decision? Please help us make this picture a reality. Send us your photos via the message tab above,of your support for the ASO. Post them here. We are asking for every educator, student of music (or not!), church musician, private teacher, or just supporter, to submit a video of themselves and /or their students showing support for ASO musicians and asking to end the lockout. Do any of you know kids that are part of a cheering squad? Get a video! Dance class? Video!
