Lots of candles use paraffin wax whereas we use 100% Soy Wax, but why is that better? 1: Soy wax candles generally burn longer than paraffin candles, because it burns at a lower heat. 2: Soy wax is derived from natural vegetables while paraffin is a refined gasoline by-product. 3: Soy wax is 100% biodegradable while paraffin wax is not. 4: Soy wax spills clean up simply with soap and water while paraffin wax spills are very time consuming and extremely difficult to completely clean up if at all. 5: Soy wax releases fragrance easier than paraffin candles. 6: Soy wax purchases support American farmers!
