Festival of Tabernacles A Christian is required to celebrate - TopicsExpress

Festival of Tabernacles A Christian is required to celebrate his feasts through the Word of Truth. In fact, Jesus Christ had a clear view about the feasts and worship a Christian must offer. It is to God the Father, that all feasts had to be offered. Such a feast must be a loving offering, offered to God the Father who is holy and perfect, by His children, who have turned away from all evils and wrongdoings, and participate in the holiness of God. Christians should be a community that wait in hope for God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ (Heb. 12/14-15). So, feasts must be offered not with the old yeast of evil and impurities, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth (1 Cor. 5/8). God the Father wanted an adoration in which His children surrender their bodies as a holy and acceptable living sacrifice to Him (Rom. 12/2). He was particular that these feasts and sacrifices must be offered not by imitating the celebrations of any other people in this world, but in the way shown to Moses and with complete holiness. The Israelites celebrated feasts in order that the Lord would come down and work wonders among the people (Josh. 3/5). The Father is looking down from Heaven whether there are any wise (Ps. 14/2). The children of God who are wise and the prudent must celebrate feasts by adoring God in Spirit and Truth. Jesus Christ unveils to the Samaritan woman this same view, that the Father had given to the Israelites (Jn. 4/21-24). It is NOW that we should offer this worship to the Father leaving aside the Jerusalem Temple and the Mount Sinai. The Feast of Tabernacles, celebrated at Zion, is in fact that very adoration. It is to the desert that the Father calls His children to celebrate the feast (Ex. 5/1). Holy Mother says that this desert is the place of the children of God, who are isolated and separated from those who reject the One True God. Zion is the community that is ostracised by the churches and communities that reject God. It is to that desert that the Father is calling His children to celebrate feasts by offering their body as a holy and acceptable living sacrifice. Just like the people of Israel were led to the desert in the First Exodus, the Father has gathered a small group of His own children, by separating them from the midst of all evils and the allurements of this world. It is to signify this process of separation from the Catholic Church and other Christian Churches, that we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles at Zion (Ex. 3/12). - See more at: emperoremmanuel/page.php?slug=temp_four_content&id=133#sthash.0RWCna4l.dpuf
