It is a known fact that the North of Nigeria had always in the past tinkered the Nigerian population census figure for sectional gains. It can be recalled that the only credible census held in 1962 by Dr Warren was cancelled and another census held in 1963 by which the North of nigeria increased overnight by 10.2 million people. I therefore call on the federal government of Nigeria to look into this census issue and ensure that a credible population census is held in Nigeria before any other general election in Nigeria. It is only a credible census figure that can produce a credible election.
