Few days ago, while enjoying summar vacation, i was roaming about college street with the intention to buy few books. Being absorbed in a book i simply was turning the pages over and suddenly my mind was arrested by a dim summon and I found a young woman with a female companion standing in front of me with a feeble smile on her lips. Staring at me straight she asked... Amlan? At first by a gradual modulation of my mind i could not catch a clue of this indistinct familiarity but then i rose up from the state of oblivion and recalled everything orderly at once. She was Anonya---my M.Phil batch-mate. Before doing our research we, from Calcutta University did M.A. That unexpected meeting was divine; the joy i found to see my old friend was hard to describe. we exchanged words and somehow found the world ultimately was a small place. I hope all my friends scattered in various places are in pink and i do believe we will meet again.
