Few things delight me more than up-tempo songs with depressing lyrics. I guess Im into irony. This is about a guy working the night shift at 7/11 and the lyrics paint a vivid but bleak picture of his existence. On the other hand the sweet harmonies and chiming guitars give it a sense of optimism and airiness.
