Fiji U20 to tour Middle East, Caribbean The Vodafone Fiji U20 football team will tour Middle East, Caribbean and the United States of America before next years FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand. Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel said it is important for the team to play matches out of the Oceania region and the tour should help the players gear up well for the world meet in June 2015. I received an invite from US earlier on and we will surely be touring there. And for the first time we will also be taking our team to the Middle East and the Caribbean region. I will be talking to the presidents of the other confederations during the FIFA congress and will try to get more matches organised for the team. He added that Fiji FA will also try its best to secure some overseas contracts for the players so they get more international exposure before the World Cup. Source : FijiLive
