Fiji held to a draw by Vanuatu The Vodafone Fiji Under-20 soccer side could not guarantee a spot yet in the FIFA Under-20 World Cup after they were held by Vanuatu 2-2 in the OFC Under-20 Championship at the ANZ Stadium. Fiji leads the table with 10 points while Vanuatu is second with 8 points after four games. Fiji will have to beat Solomon Islands on Saturday at 7.30pm to create history. Vanuatu opened the scoring in the 22nd minute but Fiji came back strongly and equalised after three minutes through Nickel Chand. Fiji Captain Jale Droloa increased the lead 15 minutes later to make it 2-1. Vanuatu equalized in the 12th minute of the second half to level terms. The other matches on the last day of the competition will see New Caledonia take on American Samoa at 2.30pm and Vanuatu face-off PNG at 5pm. Source : FijiVillage
