Fika. Second visit to the place after its opening -- the place is quickly losing its charm, and has seemed to have assumed a downward trajectory in terms of quality. The value proposition is disastrous. The food is pretty mundane, and much better alternatives are available elsewhere at a lower price. Ordered Seafood Chowder, and Macho Nachos for starters. The chowder was good, and was probably the only good thing about the meal. There was nothing macho about the nachos, they were more like nacho pequeno. At around PKR 770 for a handful (or two) of something as staple as Nachos, they were probably one of the most expensive Ive ever had anywhere in the world -- and there was nothing special about them. The Classic Burger was a sad excuse for a burger. The bun-patty ratio was totally skewed towards the bun. The diameter of the party was rough 3 inches, against bun diameter of 5.5 inches. It was a chore to find he patty in the first few bites. And yea, it was bland, boring, and lacked any flavour. They should just import the classic from OMG -- which is cheaper, and at least a dozen notches better than this one. Quattro Fromage pizza had that weird flavour. It felt like the cheese which is found on Miss Hens pizza. If someone is serious about Quattro Fromage, try the flatbread at Pantry, and then compare. The one at Pantry beats this one without any competition. Finally, the Turkey Croissant with Pepperoni was just an overpriced quick fix sandwich. It is something which can be reproduced at home at about one-fifth of the cost. The flavour was okayish, and didnt really deserve its pricing point. At around PKR 1050 per head, the value proposition is just not there. Its more like a festival of mediocrity. Overall -- the place is void of any flavour, and the pricing points just do not make any sense.
