Filipina Domestic Helper in Hongkong Attacked Employer October 30, 2013OFW News, Overseas Filipino Workers A Filipina domestic helper arrested last night for attacking her employer. Fok, the Chinese employer sustained injuries to the head and arms and was brought to the hospital after her helper with a surname Rueme stuffed a towel into his mouth and attacked with a chopper. According to the news by the local newspaper The Standard, Rueme was afraid of losing her job after her second contract with the Foks. The Filipina whose contract will expire soon has been working for the family for four years but learned that her employers are hiring another helper. The lock of her employer’s house was also changed and didn’t give her the new key. The incident happened when Fok was sleeping around 1am yesterday at a flat in East Sun Mansion on Robinson Road, Mid-Levels. Rueme was arrested for assault and wounding her employer who was taken to the hospital and has stitches on his head and bandage on his left arm. ~crystal~
