Filters In The Mind Whenever our sense organs decipher any information in the physical world, this information is converted into electric signals and subsequently, reaches the mind. So, our mind converts a physical, tangible reality into electric signals, and only then can it access it. This process of conversion creates feelings. Whenever the mind perceives an external stimulus, a corresponding electric signal/sensation is produced in the body. This sensation is an electric charge, which causes an energy movement in the body. Thus, an electric impulse is created. This electric impulse creates a feeling in the body. Process of perceiving information as reality or falsehood From a layman perspective, we believe that we feel the way we do about reality because that is how it exists. However, contrary to popular presumptions, from the scientific perspective, our feelings or our perception of reality is not dependent on what happens in the external world.
