Final Update on Haimish: He has advanced stage 4 lymphoma that is untreatable and incurable. There is nothing that the vet can do other than drug him up with painkillers and let the cancer go on. I cannot, looking at him, put him through all that. We come to a quality of life/quantity of life, and we have decided on the quality side of the argument. So tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. we will take him in for his final vet visit and come home without him. It has been wonderful having him in our lives, and we are pleased we could make his senior years fun, loving, and exciting. So my last photo of him alive is below. Thanks in advance for any comments.
