Finally brought myself to read the ending to the Inheritance Cycle and was so disappointed! I guess the last two books were a letdown really after the brilliance of the first. SPOILERS! Apparently there will be a spinoff or something that will address some of the plot holes and stuff. I guess it is a slight comfort what Paolini said about Arya: "The thing to keep in mind is that though the series is over, Eragon and Arya’s story will continue. They’re going to live for a very long time, and their relationship is far from over." But what the hell? Galbatorix and Shruikan died so easily, Arya should never have accepted being queen, Eragon and the elves should have been able to devise an alternate plan than living in exile... /sigh
