Finally got a chance to listen to the weeks episodes and I have to say my first reaction is one of relief... When I married my husband I inherited a step daughter.. and since she doesnt get on well with her mum Im sure the job of talking to her about BOYS will fall to me.. I have been dreading it.. but after Jolenes motherly advice this week I now know that theres no need to worry.. Besides it will be at least another 3 years before I have to have THE TALK with her.. because shes only TWENTY SIX !! :P Oh and can I just add that when Jolene SHOULD have had the talk with Fallon about boys.. ie 15 years ago when Fallon actually started shagging them.. there was no technology to get in the way. No facebook, No twitter, no youtube, no instagram, no flickr, no pinterest... NOTHING !! and mobile phones were for phoning people.. So has Fallon got some kind of selective amnesia ?? has she had a head injury that I have missed ?? has she forgotten all the ways she USED to attract men before the internet.. because it seems she has inexplicably reverted to the instincts and emotional maturity of a 13 year old girl ?? Moanys Machiavellian manipulation of Neil has done nothing to soften my feelings towards the man. His next and hopefully final myocardial infarction cant come soon enough for me.. What else. ?? Oh yes.. Helens introduction to the woman who is NEVER going to be her mother in law.. and her subsequent chiselling to get an introduction to Robs family. Why cant she be THAT determined and manipulative with Rob about everything else ?? But at least shes found someone who can run the shop entirely alone without all the moaning Helen used to do.. and all with approximately 15 minutes instruction.. so thats OK. She now has an excuse to never be in the shop again... giving the sws more opportunity to escalate Robs control over her. Best quote of the week... I like ironing.. :P almost pissed myself. Seriously Helen is that why your struggling company is paying someone to be an assistant Manager ? Wouldnt it be cheaper to pay someone to do the ironing ?? Please someone hit her with something.. So Justin expects more loyalty from his directors.. ?? What.. even the director he deliberately kept in the dark about his sly purchasing of BL shares. ?? The director he arranged to have ousted as Chairman by manipulating the other board members ?? The director whose home and extended family are being threatened by a road scheme hes got his fingers deeply imbedded in ?? Sorry Charlie me old china.. but Id say hed got exactly the amount of loyalty he deserves. F*** all. !
