Finally got caught up on some sleep. I had a good week out in Syracuse, I made the cut and ended up in 10th place! I got some good points and I am one step closer to getting an elite berth, now I just gotta get it done on Erie in a month. I relied on Trigger X Probe Worm on a drop shot to do most of my damage in NY and the new Daiwa Tatula rods are awesome they are so sensitive I could easily detect the light bites I was getting in deep water and never lost a fish on them all week! Another real key for me was the Hydrowave not only did it get the smallmouths fired up and biting but it would make them rise up off the bottom so that I could see them on my graph and I would then drop down to them and catch em!
