Finally home after a twelve-day, 10-state, 3,600 mile production road trip. Ill post tomorrow about our final stop today but, suffice it to say that its an incredible feeling to be standing very near the final resting place of the Sultana and to realize that I would have been under untold feet of water at that point on the early morning of the disaster. Although its a farmers field now, it surely felt like hallowed ground. My profound thanks to our project director and fellow roadie, Jeff Hoopingarner, to all the fantastic folks we were privileged to interview on the trip, to the rest of our Sultana team who are working diligently on various aspects of the documentary, and especially to all of our backers who continue to make it possible to tell this very special story. You all are incredible!
