Finally saw Amazing Spider-Man 2, and I have to say, I think it was a little underrated. There were certainly too many plots going on, which was a problem, and there was one twist in the plot that I hated (it had Orci and Kurtzmans stench all over it). But for the most part the episodic structure made up for it and the performances were fantastic. Director Mark Webb gave it a visual style that made it look possibly more like a comic book than any other superhero movie Ive seen, and I really enjoyed the score. Finally a Marvel movie that doesnt just copy the soundtrack to Lord of the Rings.
